Four Performances Only – Gripping Drama ALLIGATORS Returns to Westacre Theatre

Opening night is nearly gone. With just four performances and only 85 seats per show, Andrew Keatley’s blistering thriller ALLIGATORS returns to Westacre for a strictly limited revival - and tickets are disappearing fast. If you’ve been meaning to book, this is your moment.

Last year audiences left shaken, stunned, and still debating long after the curtain call. Now this powerful production is back - but for four nights only. Set in the round inside Westacre’s intimate 85-seater auditorium, the audience are not just watching this story - they are inside it.

The proximity is electric. At times, you feel like you’re intruding on a family’s private life. Conversations unfold just feet away. The tension is suffocating.

It feels so real, you almost forget you’re in a theatre. And this is no ordinary production. The calibre of acting has been described as being on a par with the West End, something Norfolk audiences are incredibly fortunate to experience on their doorstep.

Andrew Keatley’s ALLIGATORS is far more than a “did he do it?” drama. It is a masterful exploration of truth, trust, and how terrifyingly fragile a reputation can be. Daniel Turner’s world appears perfect, until a single accusation shatters everything.

What follows is relentless. Shameful secrets resurface. Private lives are exposed. The emotional fallout is devastating.

Audiences who saw the production last May are still talking about it. Audience reactions included: “The most powerful acting I’ve seen at Westacre in 35 years.” “An outstanding production of an outstanding play. The cast are simply amazing.” “A blistering performance that was nothing short of phenomenal.” Actor and

Director Matt Grist explains: “It’s about what happens when people are accused of things. What happens when your private life gets revealed… It’s an incredibly powerful play and we really hope that some people that came to see it last year will want to come again. But certainly hope that people who haven’t experienced it, haven’t seen such a brilliant play, take the opportunity to do so.”

With such limited capacity, favourite seats will not wait. This is small-scale theatre at its most mighty -intimate, immersive and utterly gripping.
