Will I need a face covering?
We will require face coverings to be worn if you enter the building to use the toilet facilities. Food and drink orders will be made outside and face coverings are not required outdoors. We would ask that you maintain 2 metre social distancing at all time.
How will I pay for food and drink?
Transactions will usually be cashless and paperless, and there will be one way systems in place.
Will I need to have my temperature checked?
We will not be checking your temperature but would ask that if you feel unwell or are displaying any symptoms of COVID, you do not attend the event you are booked for.
What are the social distancing rules?
At the moment, all theatres are expected to implement social distancing in the auditorium. For Westacre Theatre this has greatly reduced our capacity in the auditorium and is why we are not in a position to open up the Studio space just yet. However, we are very fortunate to have our outdoor space which reduces the risk of transmission considerably. We ask you to maintain a safe social distance around your picnic area and when you are queuing to order your food.
What else is Westacre Theatre doing?
To keep you safe, we are cleaning venues before every event and regularly disinfecting. Some routes through the building have changed in order to minimise your contact with others. There is signage to direct you and of course our Front of House volunteers. Please use the hand sanitiser stations when you enter and exit the theatre.
What happens if I feel ill?
Please do not attend the Theatre if you;
• believe you may be infected with COVID-19;
• have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days;
• have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days;
• have arrived in England in the last 14 days and are not covered by the exemption rules relating to self-isolation;
• have been instructed to self-isolate.
Any individual who considers themselves to be clinically extremely vulnerable or who is in the same household or support bubble as someone who considers themselves to be clinically extremely vulnerable is advised not to attend.
What should I do if I become unwell after my theatre visit?
All venues are working with the government to ‘Track And Trace’. If you display COVID-19 symptoms, you will be required to inform Westacre Theatre 01760 755 800
