Then meet DJ Funky Steve in Cringe, as Jenna transforms real-life tales of falls, toilet mishaps and excruciating intimate disasters into an outrageous comedy disco of songs, dance, storytelling and (sort of) Shakespeare. Cringe! A cabaret-style retelling of real cringey memories Who doesn’t love to cringe at an embarrassing story?! Enter DJ Funky Steve and his embarrassing story disco! Join Jenna as Funky Steve for a night of crazy comedy cringe as she spins real recorded tales of falls, toilet mishaps and excruciating intimate disasters. Each story is remixed into musical numbers, interpretive dance and Shakespeare sonnets (sort of). Prepared for a raucous, joyful celebration of our most mortifying moments, and celebrate the joy of being human!
Jenna has spent two years gathering true embarrassing stories from people all across the UK. In this show she re-tells these stories, via the character of DJ Funky Steve, using a combination of dance, song, recorded delivery, storytelling, and comedy sketches to create a brilliantly fun evening of laughter, entertainment and cringe.

Pub Tales is an evening of musical comedy by storyteller Chris Sainton-Clark. Chris has consolidated his experiences of working behind bars and in hospitality and has transformed those experiences into hilariously sharp, witty and satirical songs that insightfully poke fun at British pub culture and toxic masculinity in a very harmless and tongue-in-cheek way.
Chris’ songs are incredibly lyric heavy, bordering on rap at points. Although they're full of spoken word poetry and intelligently written, Chris’ songs are essentially very silly and are relatable to anyone who’s worked in hospitality or spent any time in a pub. With a multi-award winning background in theatre, Chris never meant to fall into doing comedy. He was attempting to write a musical about working in a pub, but to use it as a commentary on the racism, sexism and toxic atmosphere that hospitality workers put up with. However, when Chris tried out a couple of these songs at an open mic event, they had people howling and crying with laughter, and so Chris started to do comedy.
In the couple of years since Chris started writing these songs, he has sold out his first comedy club performance as well as completely selling out his New Zealand tour. He has successfully been able to demonstrate that even though his songs are quintessentially, British, international audiences still love his work and relate to the characters he sings about.
