Cinderella
Written by Philip Wilson, with music by Jason Carr
Directed by Sadie Grist and Becky Owen-Fisher
If you were transported by A Christmas Carol, come with us again on another magical adventure - this Christmas we bring you Cinderella. Forget what you know, this is an old fashioned tale full of warmth and told with real heart. It's a story about the family you lose, the one that mistreats you, and the one you find for yourself along the way.
You are invited to the prince's ball. Meet a wicked stepfamily, a prince in search of a wife, and a missing slipper - but there's also three magical dresses, a wish-giving tree, and help for Cinderella from a very unexpected source.
Something for everyone this Christmas, from six to sixty, with an ending that gives Cinderella more say in her own story than the old versions ever did.
“A magical retelling in all its thrilling theatricality and charming comedic glory... hauntingly beautiful.”
